Vehicle Detail
This is a 1971 ford Maverick Grabber. It has been parked since 2001. It was running when parked. It is a 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine, auto transmission, Factory original air conditioning. It is very solid. The only rust is under the hood at the front lip of hood. Very common place to find rust on these cars. the rest of the car is very good. It still has the original paint and reflective side body stripe. It is black with black interior. Floors and frame rails and torque boxes are good. No rust in quarters or rockers. bumpers are straight (need rechrome) front gravel shield is near perfect. I have the amber lenses for the front grille driving lights. Carpet even still looks ok. Seats need recovered, sun damage. Headliner needs replaced (not completely torn up but it does have some holes). I have two extra Maverick emblems for the fender. One is broken on car. See pic's. I have not tried to start it up (do not plan to try), I think most buyers will want to install a V8 in it . The car is wet in the pictures, paint looks dull when dry, but would buff up pretty good. Car is for sale locally, so I will end the auction if it sells. Discounted shipping is available thru a local shipper. Please ask for quote before auction ends. His shipping fees are due on delivery.
