This is my personal 1996 Hyundai Accent I bought new from the dealer. It does run if you jump it. These are the problems I know about, I make no claim that there aren't more problems, look at my past auctions and feedback. I will tell you the truth. 1. I took the battery out because its brand new. You need to jump start or install a battery. The car should start right up and drive fine other than the things below. 2. I took the stereo out but left the speakers -all Sony. 3. The passenger window does not go down. 4. The back brakes needs replacement. Sometimes the pedal sinks to the floor and the back brakes make a scraping noise. 5. I just did the front brakes last fall. 6. I was in 2nd or 3rd on a local road and the transmission, which is automatic, jumped into first and scared the crap out of me. It also slipped in between if you acclerated quickly. Since then I drove the car with the Overdrive button Off if I was going under 60MPH. Since doing that its never been a problem again. 7. I don't think the AC works. 8. The tires are pretty good. I replaced all four rims and tires in the last 2 years. 9. Car is incredible in the snow. Better than most 4 wheel drive trucks even when almost a foot deep. 10. Sometimes when you put it in park it won't let you take the key out unless you jiggle the gear selector a little. 11. Heat selector lever doesn't work. You have to reach under the dash and move it yourself, but you will get heat. 12. Plenty of minor dings all over. Not much rust to speak of. 13. Windshield is cracked. 14. Center console is gone. 15. Title is Clear it is a Florida Title. 16. Probably won't pass NYS inspection. 17. Has spare tire. Unless you have another Accent and need the parts, I would strongly recommend you take this car to your local scrap metal dealer and make a profit on it. I tried to get those guys to come pick it up but they say they're coming and never show up. I'm tired of staying home waiting for them.
