For Sale: Solid 1956 International Havester 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive pickup: Lock out hubs, P245-75R16 radial tires (50%), Split Ring Rims, 8' stepside box with Grain Box Extension (complete), newly re-upolstered seat and back pad (see pictures), original wrap around rear bumper, original front bumper, tail gate available from another pickup (price negotiable), good glass, trim parts including gold hood emblem (see pictures) and clear Michigan Title. Serial number tag (driver's door) reads as follows: Manufactured in: Chicago, ILL S/N: S120 - 4x4 S89648 - Wheel Base: 127" - GVW: 7,000 lb - 111.6 hp at 3,600 rpm - 131.0 hp at 3,800 rpm This pickup is an original 1956 International Harvester with the Black Diamond 240cid straight 6 cylinder (starts runs and drives good for it's age) with a syncromesh 4 speed transmission, 4 wd, and lock out hubs all in working condition. Original radiator and coweling, 6V electrical system, original gages (Fuel, Amp, Temp, Speedometer) also all work. The body in general, pickup box (8' stepside), floor boards, and running boards are solid as is the undercarriage, there is some rust on the cab corners (see pictures). In all this is a very solid pickup and with some TLC could be an everyday driver. It is certainly a very good solid base vehicle for restoration.
