1960 model that has it's original matching #s CQ code 230 horse 283. The trans is the original Borg Warner close ratio 4 speed and the rear end is the original 4.11 positrac. The car has been repainted one time in the original colors . The paint job is a least 20 years old but still looks really nice but for some chips and normal wear. All the gauges work except the tachometer which will need repaired. The original signal seeking wonderbar radio works perfect. The wheels are original and sport B.F. Goodrich Silvertown bias tires. The steering box has some play but I have gotten used to it and it does not bother me. As far as the suspension it performs perfectly. The engine runs like a top as far as power and smoothness but it does smoke a little at times. The exhaust is stock and very quiet. The valve covers have been upgraded to factory aluminum but I have the stock steel covers along with the original (not a reprint) owners manual. The trunk mat and plywood are original and in excellent condition and the car retains the original aluminum bellhousing and rear sway bar that were new to 1960. The interior is in excellent condition including the dash. The driveline is great, the clutch is smooth and the original shifter operates perfectly. The man I got the car from bought it in 1993. At that time it had 52k miles showing. The title from 1993 shows 57k miles. He assured me this was a typo that he did not catch at the time. He only drove the car during nice summer months and only once in a while and as a result only put a few thousand miles on the car during his ownership. The title is marked as actual mileage. I encourage you to come see the car in person if you can. All in all it is a beautiful car in excellent condition. Texas residents will be required to pay sales tax and title fees. I do not charge any documentation fees. If you live out of state you can take care of the title work there. I would like to mention that this car has been in my garage and not for sale on a lot.
