Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1964 FORD F100 Custom Cab pickup. It has a 1994 5.0 H/O fuel injected engine and a T5 5 speed transmission that came out of a Mustang. It also has the Ford 9 inch rearend with 3:73 gears. It features a custom interior with bucket seats, Grant steering wheel, Hurst Indy shifter, Pioneer AM/FM CD player with MTX speakers, custom wood floors, custom gauges and Power Windows! It also comes with the tool box pictured in the bed. Everything works on this vehicle ~ Heater (blower), head lights (high and low beams), turn signals, etc. This would make an awesome 1/8th mile drag truck, or a cool pulling truck to take your race car to the track or strip!! The bad points; the gas mileage is horrible with the rear gearing. The PCM needs to be updated (let me explain). This pickup ran like "greased lightening" when it was first built (a few years ago), it was stored for about 8 months and the battery was removed. Now the PCM has lost it's memory (or something) and when it is first started, it has to "relearn" everything (this takes about 5 min.) This only happens the first time it is started each day, after that it is fine. Nothing serious, just not a "get in it and go" kind of ride. So, at the least it will need to be taken to a Ford dealer or Pro shop to have the PCM reprogrammed. Or have a custom PMC ordered if you prefer. The winning bidder should be prepared to bring a trailer to haul it home. This really is a nice old (46 years) pickup, and a blast to drive! I just have lost interest in it and have another project that I am working on. There is over $5000 invested in this ride, and if you get the PCM problem sorted out it will be a great one for you! Starting the bidding low with NO RESERVE, I just want to see it go to someone that can appreciate it and enjoy it. It really wont take much to get 'er going! It is listed in the local papers for the best offer, so I could end the auction at any time. If you would like to make me an offer, shoot me an e-mail via Ebay and I'll get back to ya. I ask that the winning bidder make arrangments for pickup within two weeks after auction end (I will not store this item), make a $200 down payment (non-refundable) to my PayPal account, and bring remaining balance when you pick it up. Perfer payment in Ca$h or Bank Cashiers Check, no personal checks or Money Orders please. For sale in the United States only. I will not deal with overseas bidders that "have a shipper that will be picking it up" and send me a Bogus check for several thousand dollars more than the winning bid. Let's be serious here! I already have several of those "checks" framed and hanging on the wall of my den (great conversation piece). I have tried to describe this pickup as well as possible, and always try to be honest with my sales. I am not trying to hide nothing and if I have missed anything it is not intensional. What you see is what you get, all sales are "as is" and final. Thank you for your time and for checking out my auctions.
