Vehicle Detail

Here we have a 1990 Mustang GT Convertible that is in need of a good home. I rescued it last year from someone who was not taking care of it with every intention of fixing it up and making it a weekend fun driver but I have a 66 Mustang coupe that I am still restoring and don't have the time or space for this one anymore. It has been sitting under a car cover for about 6 months and really needs someone with time and space to fix it back up as a driver car. It is a project car that was running and would drive although very rough. I have the title signed over to me but I never registered it so I will include a bill of sale that we can get notorized if needed to go along with the title to help you get it registered. It is a "rebuilt" title from Iowa. I will not register it in my name first, it is very expensive and a lot of work to do in Louisiana, sorry. See below for the details and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. The GOOD: Car is a factory GT convertible with working power top and the desireable black interior. It is a real 25th Anniversary car with the special pony on the dash. Painted very poorly in orange at this time but is a factory Oxford White car with white top and ebony cloth interior. Complete car minus the center console which was broken so I threw it out. Factory 5.0 that ran well and should have plenty of life left in it. Included are many repair and tune up parts to get the project going. I removed the interior to check for rust and clean out but have all of the items in my storage shed that will go with the car. The BAD: Car needs a good bit of work. It has some front left damage where the apron meets the core support but I have a replacement for both that will go with the car. It cracked the radiator mounting that is plastic but I am including a replacement radiator shroud/coolant tank. The front bumper is junk but I have a very nice factory GT white one that will go with the car as well. The fiberglass hood was junk, and cracked so I have a nice factory steel one in white that will go with the car too. The floor pan has rust at the front edge but it is easily repairable and the rest of the floor looks good and solid. The spoiler on the back was a POS so I took it off and threw it in the dumpster. The motor leaks oil from the rear main but I am including a new Ford one along with some tune up items like plugs, wires, filters all Ford as well. The car has not run or been moved in close to a year so it will need to be put on a trailer and taken home, the brakes and drive line I would say are not safe to drive anywhere at this time. The tires are junk on the ten hole wheels and only two hold air at this time. Overall the car is a good solid start to make a nice car again with some time and effort. I have included most things needed for the project so you should not need much more than plenty of labor and a good paint job. I have a very nice set of factory GT turbine wheels with brand new tires that can be had seperately for additional money if you want them or I will sell them seperately after the car sells. I paid $750 for the car a year ago and have about $600 in parts included with the car to get the project going. I have the reserve set at $750 just to get my money back. I am not trying to make money on the car, just want to see it go to someone who can enjoy it. I don't know much about the history on the car besides what is listed. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional info, I can take more or better pics if you need them. Car will be sold as-is with bill of sale. Sale will be final. Deposit of $100 via Pay Pal is required within 72 hours with pick up to be within 2 weeks of winning bid. Remainder of balance to be paid in cash or with a cashiers check at time of pick up. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
