Vehicle Detail
Up for Sale is a 1963 Porsche 356 Coupe. This is a restoration that someone else started and never finished. It seems to have been passed along a couple of times and now I have it. I got it thinking that I would get around to it, but I have a whole lot of other projects and realized this one one will never be a priority. So now is the chance for it to be someone else's project. The starting price is what I have in it. I put the doors, hood, and trunk on for pictures, they are not attached and won't be when you come to get the car. The Title is signed by the previous owner, there is an old owners card (same name as Title), and a bill of sale that was given to the guy I got it fromChassis # 213883Engine # 66923 The Good: This thing was disassembled very carefully. It looks like all of the parts that came off of the car are still with the car All the Gauges are in the carFront and rear windows are not in, but are intactMost of the parts were either packed in grease, or blasted clean. Small parts were bagged, Some of the sheet metal for the engine has been primed. The BadIt is rusty, but everyone I have spoken to said they all are. It will need a new battery pan, probably new floors. Basically it has all of the "usual" rust for an unrestored car of this age. There are a few dents and dings that would probably be popped out with a rubber mallet. I pulled a couple of them out with a plunger. It looks like it may have taken a hit in the rear since the hood doesn't close all of the way. The rear wheels are locked up. I don't know if it is in gear, or what. It is currently on dollies to move around my garage, but they are not included with the car Local Pick-up is preferred. If you can't pick it up, contact me before you bid. $500 deposit is due within 48 hours, balance due within 10 days There are a few more pictures at:http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o283/thruxton666/63%20porsche%20356/
