Vehicle Detail

This is a California pickup rebuilt by Cox Restorations, California. As you can see this is a show quality daily driver vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle it had 11,049 miles. It currently has 15,008 miles and that will change slightly as I am currently driving it this summer. Since I’ve had the truck, it has never seen snow and is always stored in my heated garage in winter months. I have a significant amount more invested in this vehicle than the "buy it now price". The pickup definitely turns heads when I am driving it as it has a potent Aluminum headed 383 stroker dynoed at 500 HP. It sounds as stout as it is. I will confidently respresent this vehicle as a vehicle that you could drive home from any distance in this country. Some of the basic features of the truck are as follows: *factory air conditioning updated to 134a *power four wheel disc brakes *new factory tilt column *power steering (close ratio 605 box) *wood grain steering wheel *tachometer *factory gauges plus auto meter with oil, temp, volt & vacuum gauges *kick panels with speakers *all new glass, rubbers, felts, etc. *tinted rear sliding window *Gaylord bed cover with bed carpet kit *receiver hitch and wired for towing *12x33x15 all terrain tires with Eagle 15x8 rims and a spare tire *front rear sway bars *Rancho 500 shocks and steering stabilizer *100 amp one wire chrome alternator *4 core big block radiator with 7 blade Hayden fan, vacuum reservoir tank and Nascar coolant recovery can Engine specifics: (complete Blueprinted) *New 350 4 bolt main block, machined main journals for 400 crank, Eagle steel crank, Eagle 5.7 long roads, dished TRW forged pistons, 64cc aluminum Edelbrock heads, comp ratio of 9..5:1 complete comp cams valve train, cam 280 hyd roller rockers, Edelbrock air gap, 770 Holley with electric choke, MSD billet hei with 6a box, Edelbrock high flow aluminum water pump with billet pulleys, 6 quart moroso oil pan and pick up with 1t1 windage tray melling hv oil pump, GM performance parts tall aluminum valve covers with breathers, K&N air and oil filters, high torque mini starter centerline flywheel and clutch, assembled with new arp bolts Hooker super comp ceramic coat headers exhaust 3 ‘’ out behind rear wheels with 40 series flowmasters; Drive train specifics: Rearend- Currie built 9” in Ford design 9 plus pro street 31 spline, narrowed 2” from stock width, nodular center 3130 yoke with 3.55 gears and Detroit locker, Ford 11” explorer rear disc brakes, drilled 6 lug; Front End- Currie built Danna 44 super axles and knuckles 3.54 gear open, warn hubs, 4130 moly drive shafts, P205 transfer case gear driven with all new gears and new out of the crate Muncie truck 4 speed ; Suspension specifics: *One ton springs front and rear dearched for a better ride, ride height and stance, sway bars front rear all urethane bushings including cab, bed, core support; truck sits with 33’ tall tires right at stock height; Exterior specifics: *Original color for 1972 Ochre with white top; The white top/cab has been recently repainted; all new sheet metal fenders, inner fenders core support, good mark cowl hood hinges, grille assembly, bumpers, all trim, emblems, bezels, nos bed rails end plate wheel tubs, and tailgate; Interior specifics: *Restored original black with all new chrome ash tray, glove box, a/c and defrost vents, complete new dash harness, Lokar floormount street rod gas pedal assembly, clutch linkage, a/c and heater components, ducts, etc. New sound system *New Kenwood KDC HD9424 CD- Receiver with USB inter face (4) new Focal Access 165CA1 6.5 “ /2way/120W speakers (1) JL Audio Monoblock G1300 300W Amplifier/ Subwoofer I’m sure that there is more that I’ve missed but I’ve tried to touch on what I know or what was represented to me when I purchased this vehicle. I can’t imagine you will find too many pickups like this one. It’s truly as good as described. The reserve price is set for this vehicle to sell. Please note you will find a tear in the seat in one of the pictures. I am in the process of getting this repaired by a professional upholster and this will be fixed. Serious inquiries only please.
