1968 Ford XL Convertible, V8 not sure if the engine is original, automatic, ps,pb, bucket seats, console w/floor shifter, I have not started engine as of yet, seller was converting from points and didn't finish, car was last tagged in 2008. This car has rust in common areas. (I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THIS AD AT ANYTIME IF CAR IS PURCHASE AT LOCATION)On Jul-14-10 at 13:24:18 PDT, seller added the following information: 7/14/2010 Turn the engine over today, will install a new ignition conversion kit, engine should start. Inside cleaned up pretty good , carpet, rear seat good shape, driver side front seat frame had some rust, convertible top electric motor works, gas gauge, wiper motor, interior lights, alternator light, headlights & rear lights work.On Jul-15-10 at 13:00:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Added new electronic ignition today engine started and ran very smooth, C6 transmission went forward & reverse. The brake paddle is stuck down & the steering gear box had some issues. The seller stated the the engine had been over hauled mid 90's. I believe this to be true. Their was only 7000 of this car manufacture. This is a very rare car.
