You are viewing a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk, Gold with white fins, gold interior and wire wheels. 289 cubic inch V8 with McCulloch supercharger, 3 speed automatic transmission and Twin Traction rear axle. I purchased this car three years ago. Prior to my purchase, the car had undergone a recent cosmetic restoration, the brakes had been redone and the exhaust system replaced. I have had the engine serviced with a complete tune up, rebuilt supercharger from Lionel Stone Studebaker and the water pump replaced. The automatic transmission was serviced and functions properly. The front end was rebuilt with new springs and the steering bell crank was rebuilt. New shock absorbers were installed front and rear, the drive shaft was rebuilt, the rear end serviced, new front & rear parking brake cables and new horns. The interior is in good condition including the head liner. The front seat cushion & springs were rebuilt to factory specs. The stainless and chrome are in excellent condition, The paint is in good condition with a few paint chips. The vent window glass is showing its age. The rest of the glass is in good condition. The engine compartment needs to be detailed. This is a 53 year old car and is sold as is without representation as to its condition and with no warranty nor guarantee of any kind. The car is available for inspection and should be thoroughly inspected prior to bidding. A $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction and payment in full is due within seven days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.
