(Please note this car is not drivable at the moment, it must be repaired, the vehicle is sold as is)Vehicle Description: This vehicle was used by our children during high school years. It was well maintained for safety of the children and records are available for the work that was performed. The car is clean and smoke free. Rust is non-existent on the body. There are no oil or transmission leaks. The battery is in good condition as documented in a safety inspection. The previous owners took good care of it as we also did. The color is a nice bright red and upholstery is all in great condition. The tires are on their second season with plenty of tread left and there is a set of snow tires that goes with the car. They are also only one season old because we had no plans to sell the car until a recent engine problem occurred.Recently, the car appeared to be having performance issues. Our Ford dealer has diagnosed the problem as a broken connecting rod. The solution is to install a rebuilt engine, although, a mechanic or car savvy student could manage this and have a nice car. The car is currently sitting in a parking lot and I am planning on buying a 2011 car. It is important to note that the car cannot be driven so the buyer must pick up the car with a flatbed or tow the car from the parking lot which is in zip code area 06062.
