1960 MGA Roadster Restoration started car is dis-assembled and ready for restoration. New inner and outer rockers have been installed, sandblasting and stripping is complete. Metal work has been started. motor and trans. are complete and untouched. all parts are included plus extra aluminum body panels. Top and bows are included. as is a new tan top. Many more parts to list This car is a solid start for restoration project or good for parts for your existing restoration project. The car is located in CT. Please write with any questions, or to see more detailed pics of this car, I will be posting some pics today or tomorrow. 7-14-2010 Update: Note : I have had almost a hundred requests for pictures so far. all my pics are in my camera and it has stopped working, I am borrowing one ASAP and will post pictures soon. Till then I will describe it as best as possible. The body is off the frame, metal work on the body has been started and both rockers have been replaced. There is still some metal work needed on the body, the body has been partially sandblasted and will need to be completely stripped once the metal work is complete. The frame has been blasted and is in etch primer now, it will need the seat and floor mounts replaced otherwise it is solid. All the body panels are removed from the car, They are solid for the most part and I have not started work on them yet. All the aluminum body panels are in ok shape but will need to be stripped and refinished. I have every nut and or bolt for the car a new top canvas and assorted new body panels from Victoria British. It has complete top irons and seats as well as all the suspension parts. The drive-train is complete and untouched and will need to be overhauled. I have boxes of spares for the project as well as duplicate parts of many of the components. I am selling to concentrate on my other project I only have time and room to restore one car right now. If you are looking for a MGA to do correctly, all the nasty work has been done already. This would be a great candidate for a V-8 or V- 6 swap as well.
