For Sale - a 1942 Ford GPW with frame #66330 (no dash tag) This jeep had a body off restoration in 2008 and only been driven in two parade's. It is a fine parade jeep with a lot of comments at each parade. The engine was rebuilt by a professional mechanic with all new rings, pistons, rebored to .030, valve job, mains and rods. Transmission and transfer cases with all new seals and gsk. New shift rails and poppet balls. All new brakes, shoes, wheel cyl., master cyl. and brake lines. New top from Beachwood Canvas and new bows and brackets with special order of leather OD green on all 3 seats. This is a fine looking jeep all though it is not perfect, for one thing the hood is not perfect as you may see in the pictures, but I would rather have it than a repo hood. There is no bondo in this jeep, but has a small amount of metal glaze of which I have had good luck with on previous jeeps. As everyone knows these old jeeps have the usual oil drips. The reason this jeep is for sale I have another 1942 GPW with a 30 cal. on it, a M-38 and starting on another M-38 so you guessed it I have run out of garage room. I also have a need of M-38 parts if anyone has them for sale. I need $500.00 in 4 days of auction end and balance by pick up time of 2 weeks with no refund of down payment if you fail to pick up.
