Vehicle Detail
I'm not first owner of this vehicle. Owner I bought it from in '05 disclosed previous damage from collision, which is when they bought it, repaired it, drove it until they decided to sell it. It wasn't perfect when I bought it, though some things have stopped working over the years, described below. ALSO recently developed a leak (antifreeze) but believe it to be a hose below/behind radiator...if u plan on driving it home, but with a stop or two somewhere, bring a jug of water or antifreeze with you. Leak seems to occur after pressure is released. Asking only $1500 due to all the work this car needs. Its value is in its power plant. Most needs are cosmetic, though mechanical is relatively minor. Listed are car's flaws: A/C needs hose (doesn't work); power window switch to passenger side window doesn't work on driver's side; control panel on driver's side should be replaced; headliner is loose; headlights do not retract though can be raised/lowered manually; oil pressure guage indicates low pressure, though after replacing oil pump runs fine; paint on rear of vehicle has peeled off; chunk out of driver's side lower spoiler due to spin out last year in snow - hit a road sign sideways; small chunk out of paint on driver's door from same spin out; rear hatch does not stay open all the time, only when the outside temp is high (needs hydraulic lifters); controls on steering wheel for radio, etc., don't work (didn't work when I bought it); needs fuse for fog lights (didn't have it when I bought it) Replacements: auto tranny in 2008; starter 2009; head gaskets 2009; tires 2009 ($600!!); oil pump 2010 This has been an awesome car to drive, but we don't have the $$ to restore it. Price is reflective of its condition, and no warranty/guarantee is offered. As is/Where is, no shipping, no delivery. Cash only.
