Up for auction is my wife’s 2006 GTO. Chances are, if you are reading this then you already know the ins and outs of GTO’s. That being said I will spare you the pain of reading the same old story over and over again about how great and wonderful my car is blah, blah, blah. I am a firm believer that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I will give you the basics and let the pictures speak for themselves. She was purchased March 9th, 2007 from Clyde Revord Motors in Everett, Washington and had 84 miles on her at the time of purchase. She has lived in a conditioned garage since then and has never been driven in the snow. Obviously, living in Washington, she has been driven in the rain but was given a bath as soon as the weather cooperated with us. For the last 3+ years this car has been pampered in every way and is a head turner wherever we go. She has NEVER been taken to the track to “see what she can do” or been involved in an accident. She still sports the original tires and shows very little tread wear (see picture with penny). Everything on the car is stock with the exception of the tinted windows which are 20% all the way around (except windshield). There have not been any pets or smokers in this car. There is a scuff on the driver’s side seat that was there when we purchased the car (see picture). It looks like somebody was wearing a phone or keys when they sat down in the car and it scuffed the leather. The only other thing that I can find is a small chip (size of a pencil lead) on the front of the hood (I tried to take a picture of it but it is so small the camera won’t pick it up). It does not go down to the metal and quite frankly is difficult to see unless you are looking for it. NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Please keep in mind that I am selling this car because I want to, not because I have to. I have absolutely no issue with keeping this car if I need to. I would like to give some lucky person the opportunity to own this car and drive her like she was made to be driven. The “Buy it Now” price is several thousand dollars less than what local dealers are asking for a similar vehicle. The car blue books at $20,625 (Kelly Blue Book-Private Party Value-excellent condition) and my reserve is lower. I will not make shipping arrangements for the buyer; however I will assist in getting the vehicle where it needs to go to be transported as long as it is a reasonable distance from my house. I have described this car to the best of my ability and disclosed any derogatory information that I am aware of. PAYMENT TERMS Successful winning bidder must call (360) 481-3600 or email david.b.rogers@us.army.mil within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. The successful high bidder will submit a $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay the remainder of the balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Car is to be paid in full within 7 days of the close of the auction by bank to bank wire transfer, cashiers-check, approved bank draft, certified funds, or cash (cash will be taken to my financial institution to verify authenticity prior to vehicle being released). Vehicle will not be released until checks and/or transfers have cleared the financial institution. If final payment is not completed within 7 days of the close of auction, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Any and all transportation costs to view and transport vehicle are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Buyer is responsible for any and all expenses incurred with the purchase of this vehicle. In/Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city, federal taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
