2000 Dodge Dually Big Black and Beautiful Ready for Work and Play NO RESERVE!!!! Dodge Ram 3500 SLT with dual rear wheels on both sides (hence "dually") are the kings of the hill, the go-to vehicles for towing and hauling huge loads. When you're pulling a Bayliner, a racecar, that new fifth-wheel Coachman or a few relatives of Secretariat, you need a dually. This black beauty runs strong and has 5th wheel attachments installed in the bed. It has a manual transmission, well-maintained engine and a full tow package (including a heavier duty lift pump). Two batteries start this baby up and keep it running. Burns a very small amount of oil on long hauls but exhaust is generally clear to the eye. The truck may have higher torque / power than is listed due to the tow package but this isn’t guaranteed. What is known is that the truck pulls strong, AC blows cold and she runs straight down the road like a mac truck. Was used mostly to tow a 3 ton show vehicle on a one ton trailer and cruises with that load at 80mph no problem. There is wear on one of the front tires was created due to misalignment, but alignment was corrected before tire was completely worn. Alignment, brakes, belts and other wearing items were checked and updated 3k miles ago. New injection pump was installed 3k miles ago along with a beefier lift pump. (Don’t buy a towing dually unless you’ve got a total tow package including better lift pump because she will starve for fuel, lesson learned). We love this truck and hate to sell it but we literally have driven it only a few times in the past three months and just aren’t using it and towing with it anymore. Really want it to go to a good home.
