Vehicle Detail
I am selling this bike for a friend of mine. It is a pristine 1979 Suzuki GS 1000L. My buddy is the 2nd owner of the bike and as you can see has kept it in meticulous order (I often joke with him that it could be a museum piece)! This Suzuki has 17,580 miles on it and runs as good today as it did off of the showroom floor. It has the classic GS 1000 4 carburetor engine that according to the books produces 79HP; I have ridden this bike, it has exceptional power and will keep up with most modern bikes on the road. The Suzuki has a new battery this season and all systems are operational on it and it starts effortlessly. This bike has the electronic gear indicator (which lights up a number as you go through each gear), Bridgestone front/rear tires (6 years old, but in excellent condition) and comes with an aftermarket windshield (which my friend never had on the bike). This bike is cosmetically excellent with the exception of some stitching on the seat that is coming out and one of the GS1000L badges that popped off (he has the badge and it just needs to be put back on with the appropriate nut). The bike is open to any inspection upon appointment, simply reach out to me and I'll set it up. I am more than willing to answer any questions and encourage you to ask prior to bidding. Important Info**YOU MUST READ** Please also note that the bike is for sale locally, so this auction can end at any time. I take my Ebay very seriously, do not bid if you do not have every intention of completing the purchase. I do not tolerate de@dbeat bidders, please do not bid on this if you live in California, Michigan, Puerto Rico Etc. and are not willing to pay the shipping fees that it will take to bring the bike to you (I've heard every story out there). If you have less than 10 feedback, you MUST contact me prior to bidding or I will cancel any and all bids. The winning bid must be followed with a NON-REFUNDABLE $500 deposit within 48 hours of the close of auction. I am fair, please have the same courtesy.
