Up for auction is a 1952 Bentley MK VI, standard steel saloon with rare left hand drive. My grandfather ordered the car new from Rolls-Royce, equipped for the American market, with left hand drive and sealed beam headlamps. The car was delivered new May 26th. 1953. I have all the records and receipts including the bill of sale with purchase price. This Bentley has no rust at all, having been a California car for it's entire life. The steel body has no dents, but the paint shows it's age, repainted some 40-years ago, with some fading, the paint has nicks, scratches, checking and minor cracking. The wood and carpets are original, with the leather and headliner redone to factory specs. ten years ago. The car runs and drives as a classic Bentley should.
