Vehicle Detail

I am selling my beautiful X5 after less than 4 years of enjoying it. Unfortunately I need a bigger truck like an Escalade or Suburban for the cargo room. Anyway this X has been great to me and I'm sure will continue to be a great car for it's new owner who ever that may be. I have a little history with this car and I'm sure you can see that in the history report. I will describe each incident in detail so you can make a confident decision while bidding. I purchased the vehicle in Sept. of 2006 and immediately upgraded the wheels to the 20" sport wheels from the 4.6is model. I still have the 17" 3.0 wheels that came with it. The car was in great condition with 36,400 miles. In the summer of 2007, a bicycle came out from between two parked cars and hit my front right fender. This caused no real damage to the vehicle, however, it had to be reported to the police in case of injury to the cyclist. There were no claims filed for damage or injury since the neither the car or the cyclist were hurt. Yet the report was filed with the police and the record goes on the vehicle history report. Bummer. After that, everything was fine until August 2009. Some valet guy must have gotten a little upset for maybe not getting a good enough tip. The car was stolen and taken for a joy ride with the small plastic valet key that I had no idea even existed. I woke up one morning and the car was gone, but by the time I went to the precinct to get some paper i needed for the insurance company, the car had already been found. It was missing for less than 24 hours, and had no damage whatsoever when I got it back. Well it did have some damage underneath that was caused by the tow truck. Geico quickly had that fixed and my car was brand new again. January 2010, some lady hit my back bumper. She was pulling out of a parking lot and must have not looked both ways. Long story short, she had Allstate, who paid for a new bumper although my bumper was fine and only needed to be repainted. May 15, 2010, the worst of them all, Wifey was driving to the mall and I wasn't there. An 18 year old, armed with a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, pulls out of his parking space in the mall parking lot. He caught the driver side doors, both of them. Made a whole in one, and dented the other. I called my insurance (Progressive), they said the cost of repairs would be $6,000, of which I had to pay a $500 deductible. They changed both doors, some plastic mouldings, some panels, and some paint. The X5 is now in great condition. see the pictures. The only thing you may not see in the pictures are the tiny marks on the hood from driving on the highway in NYC. Other than that the car runs great and looks amazing. You'll love it. As I mentioned before, it has the 20" wheels from the 4.6is sport X5. And the leather is the very rare coffee brown color, not that beige that usually comes with the white X5. I drive a whole lot so the mileage is pretty high at 101,500 but thats nothing for an X5. You can get more info about that at www.x5world.com where you'll see that the life span on this car has a long way to go. Payment is through Paypal, and if your close enough I can drive it to you. Otherwise, buyer pays shipping. Good luck bidding.
