You are looking at a 1988 Jeep Wrangler with 35,000 original miles.It has a 2.5L 4 cyl and a manual transmission.The engine runs great and the carburetor is probably one of the best working ones that I have seen in a Jeep.The transmission shifts smoothly, is quiet, and the clutch feels like new.The 4wd works and the transfer case shifts smoothly.All in all I would say that the drive train is in great working order. All four tires are in very good shape and the brakes seem to work very well. The body is in pretty good shape with your normal blemishes for a 22 year old vehicle. There is some surface rust in a few areas but no major rust holes or rot. It looks like at one time someone tried to do a repair on the passenger side door as seen in the pictures.The interior is in good shape but could use a good cleaning. Now for the negative, The top has seen better days and needs to be replaced. The under carriage is pretty rusty and has some frame rot. The left rear upper shock mount has rotted away and the shock had to be removed. I have tried my best to describe this Jeep as accurately and honestly as possible, please email me with any questions.
