Yes this truck has a Cummins! Everybody has heard about the Cummins swap into a SuperDuty, now is your opportunity to own one for several thousand less and without the hassle. This is a nice 01 F350 that appears to have been well taken care of, Engine actually came out of an F650 super duty w/ 51000 miles. Any and all parts used in this conversion can be readilly purchased, nothing custom made. The great thing about a cummins into a superduty is the reliabily, you are combining the ultimate diesel with the ultimate drivetrain. Also, the availability of diesel mechanics that can work on a cummins is a huge plus, any mechanic can work on a cummins, almost any part on it can be purchased at the local auto parts store, not so with a powerstroke. Not to many guys can work on a powerstroke efficiently, you generally have to take it to a dealer for parts and repairs. Not to convenient when you live 50 miles from the nearest Ford dealer. Makes it hard when you pull a trailer for a living, you don't have many options, buy a Dodge and replace the drivetrain every 50000 miles? I don't think so, this conversion satifies all needs. If you are skittish about shipping i will be happy to help,Call with any questions , due to high volume of calls / serious enquires only please 317-696-7660 -Truck comes with complete spreadsheet detailing parts and part#'s. -Truck has 180000 miles, has been fully inspected, all fluids/ filters new, front and rear end gears/bearings inspected look new, Drivetrain solid -Truck is in really great shape for a 2001, Full size 8 foot bed, interior looks new, exterior paint shines really nice, does have a few nick but nothing major at all, has factory chrome front end, Factory aluminum wheels, Tires have more than half tread and in great shape. Bed is very solid, had a cap on it when we got it. Truck has factory cd player, cruise, a/c , tilt wheel, captains chairs, nice center console, everything is in good condition and very clean. - Transmission 4r100 factory Ford automatic, new fluid/filter. Transmission torque converter looked new when we had it apart, we think it is a reman transmission, which makes since they generally last 150000 miles under hard duty. -Engine 24v 5.9 liter cummins w/ 51000 miles, brand new factory high output injection pump, new lift pump also,. Runs superb , I've run about 1400 miles, it gets an avg. of 23 mpg. Has a straight 4" exhaust with chrome tip, 4" k&n filter, factory turbo, factory intercooled. My point is, we build these to sell, its what we do!!! Please don't bid or call if you think your going to buy this truck for 12 grand, its not going to happen. Think you can build one cheaper? Go ahead try it, we'll be glad to finish the project for you when you get in way over your head, we do it all the time. I am willing to give someone a great deal on this truck but keep in mind we have to make money, if we don't make money we can't build trucks.
