1955 1st series Chevrolet 5 window pickup. This truck has won numerous awards at various car shows including the big Houston Autorama. There was no expense spared in building this truck four years ago (about $38,000). The truck has way to many things to list but here are a few. It has mustang II suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes, pwr steering, pwr brakes, Vintage air AC system, automatic transmission, pwr windows (with vintage looking handles for switch), HID headlights, Chrome flaming river steering column and steering components, hidden tailgate latches, electric windshield wipers, new 350 zz4 crate engine, Halibrand air cleaner, MSD distributor and ignition, March pulley system, Demon carb, flow master exhaust, custom leather interior, very nice stereo system, stainless fuel tank (relocated under the bed), Oak bed with stainless bed strips, and much more... The truck had a frame off restoration. It has a lot subtle modifications to update the drivability and look of the truck, however it still retains its nostalgia. The inner fenders and core support were all powder coated black and the paint is all but perfect. If there is a nick or scratch, it is real minor and I can't think of any. The only imperfections on the truck i can think of, are the fuel gauge reads inaccurate and the doors take a firm push to close due to the weather stripping.
