If this car looks familiar, it is. Twice it was sold. Both times the bidders had zero feedback and never made any sort of contact. Ebay refunded my fees each time and gave them strikes. I am moving out of the country permanently in 6 weeks and this great running car needs to be gone. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF BUYING THIS VEHICLE, DO NOT BID ON IT. ANYONE WITH ZERO FEEDBACK WILL BE REMOVED. You are bidding on a great looking and running '98 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with the imitation convertible roof. It has alloy wheels and is fully loaded. It runs perfectly, no surprises. I use this car every day, but we are moving out of the country next month. I assume the engine was rebuilt at some point because in spite of the high mileage, this car burns no oil, doesn't leak anything, engine is smooth and powerful, etc. Climate Control works perfectly, air is cold (important in Florida). Power windows, door locks, tilt steering wheel, cruise control etc. all work perfectly. I just put on 4 new BF Goodrich Touring T/A radials for $600 alone. I would not hesitate to drive this car coast to coast leaving in the morning. It has but two minor problems. There is a crack in the windshield on the passenger side, does not interfere with anything. The trip computer works fine in miles left until empty mode, but stays in that mode. I note on the car's history that there was once a minor accident. That can be seen in the pictures as a minor crack in the plastic bumper. Sheet metal is lovely and the imitation convertible top is like new. Bottom line is you can have a reliable good looking luxury car for next to nothing in cost. A $500 deposit is required within 3 days of end of sale and it is the buyer's responsibility to pick up at my residence here in Central Florida. You do not need to haul it.
