Here is an absolutely stunning original 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible that is in mint condition.This was my father's car before he passed away a couple of years ago.He bought this car from the original owner's estate in 1971 from Sacramento,California.The car has extremely low miles(43,052 actual).He drove the car on occassion and then was stored for many years up until 5 years ago when the car was completely mechanically gone through to make the car perfectly roadworthy.The engine,automatic transmission,radiator,and brakes were completely rebuilt professionally.The car drives down the road beautifully.You can drive this car to any destination you want to go.The car has the most sought after factory color Ford ever offered.The car is coded Raven Black(code A) for both the body and hardtop.The paint was also professionally painted once and is breathtaking.The paint is close to show quality with no dings,scratches,or wear marks.The car is completely rust and accident free.The body panels are very straight and fit together perfectly.All the correct original welds around the hood,trunk,and inner areas are still original and untouched.All numbers match.The paint will take your breath away.The beautiful Black/White interior is mostly original and was very well cared for as you can see in the photos.The seat,door panels,and carpet are in excellent original condition.Always protected in the garage from any sun damage.The car has the original correct 1955 steering wheel and horn ring.The dash is very nice and crack free.All the chrome is still in beautiful original condition.The bumpers have the correct bumperettes.The weatherstrippings are in excellent shape as well as the original glass.The car does have the wide white wall tires including the spare tire.The engine and trunk compartments are fully detailed and immacualte.The car does come with the original hardtop only.How can you resist this all American classic that is not only in stunning origian condition but has very low miles.I am offering this at No Reserve and hoping it will find a very nice home.Own this extremely nice baby bird that you can enjoy for many years to come.
