This is the middle model with the duratec engine with 200hp V6. I am the First owner of this car and purchased it in 1999 from a Ford Dealership. The interior of this car is in great shape no tears or rips in the seat. The car has never been smoked in, and has always been taken care of. This car has new tires that have been put on about 5000 miles ago. The car also has just recived a new egr valve, and in the last year it recived new brake rotors and pads in the front. I have Brembo drilled rotors in the front. This car turns on easily on the first try, and the motor is running strong. There is a Hidden Hitch class 2 trailer hitch installed on this car. The only problem with this car is the transmssion. When the car is turned on you can switch it into a gear but for some reason it wont engage and actually get into the gear. I do not know if this can be fixed quickly or what is wrong. There are replacment transmissions for this car for Under $500 on ebay, probably less in a junkyard. This engine funs very strong, turns on instantly and has been taken care of very well since purchase. The interior is in absolute great shape, and the engine itself looks great. The A/C Blows out ice cold, other than the transmission this car is in great mechanical shape. I added a little bit of fluid and now the tansmission engages into the gears which it didnt do. Again i do not know what is wrong with the transmission, it could just need a new filter and a Fluid change, but i really do not know.
