**** This is my BMW X5 **** PLEASE READ!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ PLEASE READ!!!!! I had this car and took very good care of it.... when I could no longer afford it ... I made the big mistake of selling it to a friend who would continue to pay the note on the car.... When I sold him the car - the car was mint - of course he went bad on making the payments and I had to take it back - I took it to the shop just to have it checked out before I sold it and now I find out that due to his negligence and lack of maintenance - THE TRUCK WILL NEED WORK!!! I was told that the "lifters" are bad and need to be redone or replaced plus some other stuff.... I was quoted a price of $3500 for the lifters or I could pay $6000 for a complete overhaul. In either case I cannot afford either option... It was listed here and sold on ebay - however, I was in the hospital and was not made aware of the problems until after the car sold and after I was released from the hospital (Note: I did not take a dime from the winning bidder, of course). Now I am relisting it but giving full disclosure This truck is either perfect if you are a mechanic or if you have the funds to fix it - it is well worth the money. The truck is at a shop in Somerdale, New Jersey - IF ANYONE IS LOCAL THEY CAN GO SEE - or if you buy and you are local he can do the job and give you a warranty but that would be between you and the shop. It is a very reputable shop that does nothing but BMW, MERCEDES, AND PORSCHE. Good Luck Bidding! I am selling my 2002 BMW X5 .
