This 1978 El Camino SS is a fifth generation from the line of Chevy El Camino pick-ups. The 1978 El Camino was the year of the new production styling and features the single headlight design. The best part about this car/truck is that it is a "Super Sport" Model. This truck would make a great restoration project or can be driven daily as-is. The motor 305 V-8 and transmission 350 automation have about 90,000 miles on them. Runs and shifts good....can be driven anywhere with reliability. Does not burn oil or smoke. Instruction panel looks good and everything on the dash is working as it should The bad new is that the truck needs the exhaust replaced. Dual exhaust would sound great on this truck. This trucks headliner is also sagging and will need replaced...dome light cover is missing and the turn signal lense on the passenger side is also missing. The quarter panels are rusted out re is also rust and wear on the front fenders as well as below the passengers door. Air Conditioner pump needs replaced.
