1999 CLK 430 Mercedes Benz for sale $3,500. NOTE: I purchased this car recently for parts and now selling the car minus front pumper, hood and driver’s side fender. Vehicle has not been in an acedent to my knowledge. I used parts to repair my 1999 CLK 430 that only had 51K miles on it. Car is in good shape and was in good working condition other than the transmission as noted in the description of when I purchased the car below. Parts on this car are selling for over $7,000 and the engine alone is selling for $2,500 - $3,300. 1999 Mercedes Benz CLK430 Coupe, bright red, approximately 122,000 miles. It needs a transmission. I do not know specifically what is wrong with it. I was just informed it cannot be rebuilt. I replaced the transmission control module (a $1,700 repair) so that is not the problem. The car will drive but it is highly inadvisable. It has been parked for over a year now. I have taken good care of the car because it was my intent to have it fixed, but I have come to the realization that I won't be able to afford to fix it, so I must let it go. The exterior is in good condition, but does have a few tiny chips in the paint on the front bumper where rocks and debris have hit it, typical of a car of its age. There is a place on the driver’s side mirror and on the hood where the clear coat is peeling away, giving it a dull appearance (see pictures), but the paint underneath is in good condition. This is not very noticeable though (see pictures). The interior of the car is black leather with wood grain trim and is in excellent condition except for a small place on the top of the backseat where the stitching has come loose.
