Vehicle Detail

This is my 1979 Trans Am, it has the 6.6L olds 403 engine. The car is a WS6 optioned car, with 4 wheel disc brakes, black interior, the gold trim is just for looks its not an SE, The gold steering wheel, and wheels are just for looks. the wheels are actually for an SE. the car is pictured with a set of mags on it but the pictures of the gold snowflake wheels will be added soon. I have the original WS6 wheels but they are not going with the car unless determined prior to sale. the engine had a nice facelift just recently, I will add a complete description of what was done shortly. the odometer says 6912 miles, there is about 80 miles on the engine since the work has been done, and the total miles on the car itself is unknown for sure. The engine runs strong, starts right up with no problems, New carb, Hooker Headers. This car is so much fun to drive, and just cruise in. the interior needs some work, some new seat covers would be nice, a new package tray(i have one just not put in yet), headliner(also have one just not put in), it has the original dash but it does have a couple tears in it, either a dash cap or another dash if you want perfection. the car does have some rust, im not sure the extent of it. Please ask any and all questions you would like. On Jun-28-10 at 12:25:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Well let’s see, when it comes to the engine we disassembled the engine down to a short block cleaned the whole short block thoroughly and repainted it. We then sent the heads out to get the them acid cleaned, a 3 angle valve job and replace all the exhaust valves. We totally resealed the complete engine from the oil pan up. Transmission was totally resealed also. Timing chain and gear set are brand new. Everything on the engine is pretty much new. New plugs, oil cap, water pump, pcv valve, belts, hoses, heat riser choke tube, transmission lines, speedometer cables, radiator cap, royal purple with acdelco filter, heater core, oil pressure guage, fuel pump, headlamp switch, and cruise control servo. That’s all I can think of for now.
