1972 Honda CT

1972 Honda CT70.. 3speed model with automatic clutch. 985 original miles and I would say that this bike is as close to mint as you will find. Red in color with all factory stickers. Tires are near new and the rims look very very nice. Seat was recovered with a very nice cover and the seat pan is in excellant condition with the original tool kit still attached!!!. Chrome fenders look new and paint shines like new with a few minor touched up spots on left side of frame ( see photo). All lights work and head light lens is not cracked. Starts right up and runs 100% with absolutly NO!! smoke or leaks. Clutch works 100% and it shifts just fine. This bike is coming from a friend of mines collection. He has too many bikes and is clearing out a few . Reserve is low for this nice of a bike. In my opinion this bike needs nothing but it is not a brand new bike..it is still 38 years old.. Put it in your collection or ride it gently and you will have a nice bike for years to come. This bike gets comments evertime someone walks into my garage and sees it, everyone wants it... I just found this out after a question was asked by a bidder regarding the bikes serial #. I was unable to find one and called my friend to find out why...My friend let me know that when he got this bike from the original owner ( many many years ago) he was told that the frame had been replaced by a Honda dealer with a NEW factory frame. The new frame came without serial numbers but does have a Factory Honda information sticker on the neck, it has no build date or serial number on it.I apolgize for the error in the listing but I just found out. There is no title with this bike but we will issue a Bill of sale.
