Vehicle Detail
My 1997 Mazda 626 ES is up for sale with NO RESERVE. Please read this entire listing BEFORE you bid on it. I have driven this vehicle for the past year and a half and it was bought from one of my good friends who took extremely good care of it before selling it to me. He had the oil and filter changed every 3k miles, new tires, new brakes, the list goes on. However, about 6 months ago, the vehicle didn't start up for me one day out of the blue. I took it to my personal mechanic who has worked on cars for 10+ years and has been a professional mechanic for Ford and Nissan. For these past months we have tried EVERYTHING to get it running again and it still will not start up!!! The car DOES CRANK!!!! This is what I have replaced within that time period in order to get it running:BATTERYSTARTERSPARK PLUGSWIRE HARNESSCOMPUTERBELTSALL FILTERSALTERNATORThese are the items that have been checked by him and are in fine working order : Timing beltTransmissionClutchWater pumpFuel pumpBatteryBeltsAlternatorPlugs and HarnessEngineComputerTo my mechanic's and myself's dismay nothing has worked. He and I have been absolutely baffled to what it could be. It obviously is something small that we are missing because everything MAJOR has been diagnosed as working. At this point I am going to throw in the towel and cut my losses. I was going to part it out but don't have the time to do it working two jobs. Due to my rigorous honesty, I need to include some last minute blemishes with the vehicle besides the already mentioned. There ARE some scratches and tiny dings on the car. The two front side corner panels have dings that can be fixed by a shop and banged out for around $35.00 a piece. The driver side mirror is rigged up with gorilla tape and needs to be replaced for around $40.00 is you buy from salvage yard. Lastly, the heater and a/c blower is LOUD but works. The value of this car running and with the minor cosmetics fixed is booked on KBB (kelly blue book) at $2,150.00 under FAIR CONDITION. This car is a STEAL for a mechanic or even parts dealer. The winning bidder MUST TOW AT THEIR EXPENSE!!!!!!!!!!Best of luck to all those bidding. SALE IS FINAL!!!!!!
