Vehicle Detail

Here is my Beautiful and in Mint Condition 1990 Convertible IROC Z28. She will be Celebrating her 20th Anniversary next year with 38,400 Original Miles.(Original Miles!!!) I've had my dream car for a couple of months, as a collectible and as an investment, because she is truly a classic. But unfortunately the time has come where i need to sell her. I don't have the space for her and i refuse to keep her parked in the streets of NY!! My loss will be someone's gain, she will make someone very happy! And with an investment as this, she will make a great addition to any collection. I have seen many IROC Z's in my life, but I must say this one is my all time favorite! It's colors - white with silver and yellow stripes and grey interior. Go in perfect combination with the big, bold decals " IROC Z" in and out of the car to make its unique and distinguished. > The paint is original and shines like new. Except for a minor nick on the back bumper which is very unnoticeable. Also there is a small tear on the convertible top, it happened while dropping the top. These are the only 2 flaws My Beautiful IROC Z has. The interior is spotless and everything works as it should. The interior as well as the entire car is stock, original am/fm cassette radio, power window, power seat (driver), ice cold A/C! The battery and tires were changed but these are original stock 16 in cast- aluminum wheels! She has been very well maintained, garage kept always! This car was previously owned by a family member of the beloved Ms. Farrah Fawcett. Her sister's husband, and no I'm not sure if Ms. Farrah Fawcett ever sat in the car. **Please note: That I'm not just saying this to boost sales or anything like that. May our beautiful angel RIP!! But I personally went to pick up my car in Florida and sat down with them. If you could only have seen what I did. What an unbelievable collection of cars! Thanks Ron. I can't say enough on this car and the pictures are an understatement. Please Serious Bidders Only!! Buyer will be responsible for pick up or shipping! No warranty is expressed or implied it is being sold with all known or unknown defects. She's a beauty and she's well worth it for any one who cherishes classic cars. She's a great investment! My only wish is you enjoy it as much as I did!! Below you'll see the factory Specs and some fun facts most people don't know about IROC Z's Factory Specifications: • Engine: 5.0L LB9 V8 305, Tuned Port Injection (TPI) • Horsepower: 210 @ 4400 rpm • Torque: 285 @ 3200 rpm • Compression Ratio: 9.3:1 • Camshaft specs: .350/.384 - 179/194 @ .050 - 109 lsa • Trans: 700R4 Automatic (4-speed with OD) • Rear Axle: 2.73:1 posi • Total Production # in 1990: 5,507 • Total produced w/ 5.0L: 3,902 • Total coupes produced: 1,798 1990 Camaro Model Year Facts (from the internet) -Unique to 1990, was a YELLOW "IROC-Z" dash emblem. -1990 was the last year for Camaro IROC-Z and was the only Convertible available. -When Dodge took over sponsorship for the IROC series, production of the IROC-Z Camaro ceased. -1990 IROC Z Camaro's were not even built in 1990. In fact, production of the 1990 models started in 1989 (Aug. 14) at the Van Nuys, California, factory and ended the same year (Dec. 22). Officially, no 1990 Camaro's were actually built in 1990. -The four-(4) model lineup of 1989 continued for 1990. The models were RS Coupe, RS Convertible, IROC-Z Coupe and IROC-Z Convertible. -The 305ci, 170hp V8 (RPO L03) was optional with RS Coupe and included with RS Convertible. The IROC-Z Coupe and Convertible both came with the 305ci, 210hp V8 (RPO LB9). The RPO B2L (350ci, 245hp) V8 was limited to the IROC-Z Coupe. All models were equipped with a 5-speed manual transmissions at no charge, except for RPO B2L which required an automatic transmission. -Federal regulations required passive restraint mechanisms for cars built after September 1, 1989, and Chevrolet met the requirement with a supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system, commonly called an airbag, for all 1990 Camaro's. For 1990, a single bag was installed into a new steering wheel for driver-side protection. Chevrolet designed the new steering column with a tilt mechanism, so this became standard with all Camaro models. The steering wheels for RS and IROC-Z models looked the same, except that steering wheels for IROC-Z models, coupe and convertible, were leather-wrapped. -To distinguish a 1990 IROC-Z on the street, they had a third brake light on the rear spoiler. They also had the N96 Aluminum Wheels(15in standard/16in optional). They had the IROC-Z door emblems toward the back of the door under the door handle. Also, the double stripe just above the ground effects had the black stripe on the top. All IROC-Z's had body color ground effects to differentiate from Z28s and Sport coupes. The dashboard instrument panel consisted of a white background with dark numbers and letters. -The 5.0 was not visually distinguishable from the 5.7. A few things can be used to distinguish a 5.0 TPI from a 5.7 TPI (other than badges, which are often changed to sell a 5.0 as a 5.7). All 5.7's came with the round knob while the 5.0 came with the square shifter knob. All 5.7's had automatic transmissions and rear disc brakes. (the eighth digit of the VIN is an 8 for 5.7 350 TPI) The service parts identification list can be located in the center console glovebox. It will list the code LB9 for 5.0 305. or B2L for a 5.7 350. You can also look under hood the sticker should list the motor as a 5.0 liter rather than a 5.7 liter.
