Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on this very dependable Ford F-350 Dump truck. I have been driving this truck to town 5 or 6 days a week.Drives down the highway 65mph pretty smoothly. Never have to use creeper unless you have over 3 ton on.Needs a tail pipe (3 feet long) and the rear main seal leaks about a quart of oil out a month.Doesn't seem to use any oil, doesn't smoke at all. The 5.8 engine is pretty easy on gas, until you get a load on.I put a new starter on around last September.I put new spark plugs and wires on in December last, because I changed all the gaskets(oil) on the front of the motor and I thought the wires had broken down from the oil dripping on them and beeing hot. In Feburary the slave cylinder for the clutch was leaking fluid out when it was cold , so while I was replacing the slave ,I put a new clutch and pressure plate in also. Once in a while when it is raining, the windsheild motor kind of studders a little. It's been doing that since I got it.There is a few dents in the top from dumping fire wood on it at the mill. And a lot of people thing the roof is a ladder. Has a dent at the bottom of passenger side door, and a little rust is starting on the drivers side door. Has a very nice and strong tow ring on the front. Has a reese hitch and light plug on the back for towing, and the chain hooks. The tailgate works great, spreader gate works very good. The top of the tailgate it pulled up from catching on the reese hitch,as you can see in photo.Has a little hole in drivers side front fender(top) where I dropped nail gun on it. Didn't hurt nail gun. The clear coat is start to come off in chip on the cab.Tires aren't too bad. I'm not good at judging tires though,I change tires when I can see air in them.Right front tires don't seem to last very long, tire alingment guy says not align wasting money. As of now ,there is 126,311 mile on truck. When it's gone,I'm out of the gravel and roofing business. If you have any questions, jusi ask.You are welcome to come and see and drive this truck.I do have it advertized locally at a much higher price than my starting bid. Thanks for looking.
