1941 Ford Convert. An older hot rod needing a re-restoration. I realize I have too many projects and little money and time to complete them. So here goes another. It's a very solid original convertible with a carson type top. The top uses a lot of the original top bows so if you want to go back to a folding top, at least half or more is there. The body looks like it was done along time ago, my guess is 30 years or more. There are no rust bubbles coming through. The floor and trunk has been repaired and is solid but not done to high standards. But it will work fine. The fender seams have been filled and again, nothing is coming through. The top is chopped approx. 2 inches. The car has independant front suspension with rack and pinion steering installed nicely. There is a chevy engine in there but it is just laying there and the auction does not include the engine or trans. There is a pair of bucket seats that are not bolted down. They are included as well as nice chromed bumpers, no rust running boards, and a power window set up (should be complete but no guarantees). I have the door glass and chrome surrounds but It is missing one vent window. There is some new weatherstrip and bumper bracket grommets. All in all a great project that will not have you spending tons of $$ or hours repairing a rusty body. A great start to an easy ( yeah, right!) restoration/customisation. I know I am forgetting something so ask any and all question before you bid since this is a no reserve auction and the high bidder will win this car! No scammers or deadbeats need apply.
