Vehicle Detail
1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Quad Cab with a 24 valve Cummins Diesel and an 8ft bed. This is a great big truck! Black with gray leather interior. Automatic transmission. Power windows/locks/mirrors and air conditioning. The truck has 290K miles on it. The engine runs like new and is super strong. This truck burns very clean and the engine has been maintained extremely well. Has a Bullydog system and an aftermarket air filter. I don't know much else about the engine add-ons because I bought it that way. Frame and undercarriage is clean, straight and is not all rusty. Here are the goods and bads: Good: - Engine runs very strong. Lots of life left. Extremely powerful and burns extremely clean. - Transmission shifts fine through all the gears and does not slip or shudder at all. - New aftermarket wheels that look great - BF Goodrich all terrain tires. 33 inch. 75% tread left on them - New front steering box stabilizer installed - Spray in bedliner - Interior is clean and everything works, including A/C - Chrome nerf bars (side steps) - New front brakes Needs: - Could use fresh paint. I had some dings and small dents fixed & those areas are primed in black. You can drive like it is if it doesn't bother you, it's just not all one factory paint job. But truck is all black. - Some stitching on driver's seat is coming undone and needs to be restitched. About 6 inches long (see pic). Dash has a crack in the plastic on top, so I have a nice fitted dash carpet cover. Looks great. - Front Driveshaft for the 4x4 needs to be bought and installed. The part is $150. Truck can be driven as-is with no poblems though (see pic). - Sometimes (not always), when you shift into drive, the engine cuts and you have to restart and put into gear again. Does it when the truck is warm and has been running a while. Some people have told me this common on some of the Dodge diesels. I don't know. I just restart it, put it back in drive and go. Doesn't do it all the time. I have tried to be completely honest in my description so there are no surprises, but it is always best to come see and drive if you are interested. I am available any time to show. I have driven the truck about 1000 miles since I bought it, but it is just too big for me. I am downsizing to a Dakota. I really love this truck, and that is the ONLY reason I am selling it. Truck doesn't need much to be 100% and most is cosmetic. Mechanically the truck is a beast! If you would like any specific pictures taken of the truck, or have any questions, just let me know. Thanks. **** I DO NOT HAVE A 'BUY-IT-NOW' IN MIND, BUT I AM OPEN TO OFFERS TO END THE AUCTION EARLY. Please be serious and know the value of these Cummins diesel trucks before making me an offer. Thank you very much. ****
