PLEASE READ THIS AD VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!! IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, YOU MUST EMAIL ME FIRST BEFORE BIDDING OR I HAVE THE RIGHT TO EVICT YOU FROM THE AUCTION PLEASE LOOK AT MY TERRIFIC FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. UPON REQUESTION, YOU CAN HAVE MY CELL# FOR ANY QUESTIONS ON THE CAR. Let me start by telling you, how RARE this car is. It is an ORIGINAL ALL #'S MATCHING SX-455 CONVERTIBLE. It is DOCUMENTED with its ORIGINAL FACTORY BUILDSHEET, which was found under the passenger bucket seat. The L33 CODE, which stands for the SX CUTLASS OPTION, is one of the RAREST BIG-BLOCK Oldsmobiles made. The SX was a way for Oldsmobile to fool the insurance companies, which started to change an enormous surcharge on high-performance cars. They did this by putting the high-performance 442 drive-train (455 engine, turbo 400 transmission, 12 bolt-posi) into a cutlass and calling it the CUTLASS SX. These particular cars, are also a PLEASURE TO DRIVE for two reasons: REASON #1 is, besides sharing the bullet proof 442 drive-train, they also shared the heavy duty FE2 SUSPENSION PACKAGE(which included, HEAVY DUTY springs and shocks, HEAVY DUTY front and rear sway bars, with the boxed HEAVY DUTY rear control arms). REASON #2 is, the cars then, came standard with numerically low highway gears for ultimate parkway cruising and better fuel economy. I have been slowly restoring this car for years, and at this point in my life, I have decided to sell it. THE CAR RUNS EXCELLENT, IS VIRTUALLY RUST-FREE, AND ALMOST READY FOR PAINT. The ORIGINAL color to this classic is REEF TURQUISE, color code #3Y, which is a rare and beautiful color. This SX also has bucket seats, floor shifter w/console, rally II wheels, power-steering, power-disc-brakes, and a power top with a convertible boot. Due to personal reasons, I must sell this car. The car will be sold. Someone will get an ultra rare piece of Oldsmobile history, that is fully documented, all #'s matching factory big block convertible for a good price. The reserve is well under the money for this car. I would be happy to discuss my car in detail, if you would like to leave your phone#. If you are looking for a trailer queen, show car, or to take a first place trophy at the Oldsmobile nationals, then please move on to the next car. On the other hand, if you are serious about purchasing a rare piece of Olds history that can be driven to the nationals or local car show and can be finished at your own pace, then please consider my car. WINNER ASSUMES ALL SHIPPING COSTS. A $500 DEPOSIT(CASHIERS CHECK, MONEY ORDER, BANK CERTIFIED CHECK) MUST BE SENT WITHIN 2 DAYS OF THE CLOSED AUCTION. THE BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN FULL AND HAVE THE CAR PICKED UP WITH IN 7 DAYS OF THE CLOSED AUCTION.On Jun-28-10 at 17:45:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I am sorry i made a couple of typoes in the ad. I meant "CHARGE" an enormous surcharge, the wheels are "SUPER STOCK II'S" and the color code is #34. I apologize for my error. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!
