What I have is a running and driving 1982 Mercedes 300sd. The car was given to me as payment for a job. The car had sat undriven for a couple of years. After installing a new battery, replacing all fluids/filters and misc. hoses and belts, she fired right up and runs great. I've driven the car well over 1500 miles with no problem. In fact, I just drove her on a 400 mile round trip to East Texas and she ran great with no noticible oil consumption. Of course on a car of this age, there are some issues: The exterior is in nice shape with a recent paint job, however, the interior is in what I'd call poor condition with cracked seats and dash. Sunroof and the right rear window is non functioning, odometer,tach and fuel guage are not working. The driver's seat is loose and will not move electrically. A/C works but leaks out after a few days. Front end makes odd noices when travelling over potholes but the car tracks straight with very little play in the wheel and will stop on a dime. Tires are matching Goodyears of the correct size with approx. 25% wear left. I'm including a relatively new Sony CD player with the car that the new owner will need to install. Overall, the car is in very solid and roadworthy condition and would make an economical car to get around town in. Car is being listed with no reserve.
