1966 Ford Mustang FastBack 2+2 289 A-Code This offering is a totally original, matching number 1966 Fastback 2+2 Mustang. This is a 289 A code that I have owned for 25 years. It was purchased from an elderly gentleman's collection in Columbus, GA. It has always been garage kept. It has a 10year old 90% restoration. This is a very rare special order car. In 1966 there were fewer fastbacks produced than convertibles. Total fastback deluxe models were 7889 with 29% with power steering, 10% with factory A/C and only 3% with power brakes. This car was special ordered with all three! If you crunch the numbers you will realize that there was a grand total of 7 of these cars produced. The car has all options offered except GT package with rally-pac which could be added if wanted. The original A/C unit is not installed because I intended to use a rotary after-air unit, but the original piston-type components will be provided with the car. The paint is fair with some swirls and bubbling. There has been no undercoating or painting to conceal anything. This is a very rare and collectable vehicle and an excellent investment quality car. I am sacrificing this car only to keep my son in college. Titles are not offered in GA for vehicles over 17years old. Buyer will be provided a registration transfer and GA state Bill of Sale form.
