Completely restored 1966 Chevy Impala, 2 door hard top. My father bought this car new when I was a kid and I have owned her since I learned to drive. It has been meticulously cared for and had a complete in and out restoration about 7 years ago. The car has been in closed storage ever since. About 2000 miles put on the car since the restoration. The restoration consisted of complete engine and transmission overhaul, dashboard electronics all rewired. Clock and AM/FM radio reworked and updated to solid state quartz movement. Interior all reupholstered including carpeting and headliner. The engine is 283 V8 and it purrs when it runs. 2 speed powerglide transmission. AC works well and this definitely helps on those sweltering days here in Texas with a black vinyl interior! Bumpers have been rechromed and body work done the right way with NO BONDO! The car has never been wrecked. Exterior is the same stock black cherry color that it came with new. Factory "inspection marks" placed in and around the engine and fire wall just as the originals had. This car looks as it did the day that my dad drove it home from the showroom in 1966. I have the original dealer invoice from the day of purchase, original owner's manual and dealer's brochure. Also have replica window sticker with options and prices, like the original as well as original 1966 chassis service manual. It would be a great show car. This is not a hot rod but a fantastic classic ride that makes her a truly fun car to drive, show and own. I wish that I could keep her but I simply do not have the time or expertise to devote to the car to keep her in the pristine shape that she is in right now. I have kept the reserve price for the amount that I invested to restore the car only. Buyer pays with certified or cashier's check drawn on US bank funds only.
