This is a auction for a 1963 VW Single Cab Transporter Please read the entire auction before placing a bid. The bus has been sitting . There are scratchs , knicks around the body of the bus. The glass is all there , one side of the front does have a crack. The interior is pretty basic. The bench is two piece with seat belts. There is an overhead vent. The bus does have some rust but the bus still is has good bones to it. The outriggers should be replaced. The treasure chest is in good condition for the age of the bus. The treasure chest also has the spare tire carrier. The fuel tank was removed. The area under the fuel tank was sanded and treated prior to the gas tank being re installed. The tires are new The odometer shows 19051 , actual miles unknown the bus is over 40 years old. The trans is a 4 speed. The trans works and also reverse works. The clutch is functioning properly. The motor recenlty had a carb rebuild, new fuel line and a tune up. The motor runs well. The sides all fold down without issue. The bus has a set of HOOPs. This bus should be approached as a running project. You should expect to do mechanical and some electrical work.
