You are looking at a 1959 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hard top. Painted factory colors of Roman red with custom red interior. This car was born and sold in Oakland, California. I have inspected the car and it is rust free. Once again, I repeat, rust free. No rot, no bondo, period. This car sports its original 348 4 BBL with powerglide transmission an power steering. It runs, drives and starts, smooth, straight and strong. When a car has never been exposed to rust and never been hit, all the body lines line up as they should. This car's hood, doors, trunk lid and windows are excellent. All the exterior stainless is excellent. There are 3 or 4 slight blemishes in the stainless. The California bumpers are original and to be showroom would need to be rechromed. This 1959 Impala has been cared for its entire life. The doors open and close perfectly. All th windows go up and down with 2 fingers. All te glass is excellent. All the gauges work. The speedometer works, All the lights work. It's kind of fun to cruise down the highway with the windows down and listen to the factory AM radio. This car is a fine example of what good, tight, ol'Chevy's should be. Included with the sale; fender skirts and a factory brochure. The car has new wide whites and a fresh tune up. As you can tell by the pictures, the interior is not stock, but it has been nicely redone and it is in excellent condition. New carpets, new seats, new headliner, etc. The Offenhauser valve covers are not stock and the interior isn't stock. Other than that, this car is very, very, Jenny. And you don't have to chase any rust around the car....it is rock solid. Great colors of Roman Red with white insert and brand new wide white tires make this car simply stunning. Make no mistake, this car is of excellent driver quality. It is not a big dollar show car nor do I have a big dollar reserve.
