You are looking at a one-owner, 1957 Ford Custom 300 4-door Sedan, in the factory colors of Cumberland Green and Willow Green. I am selling this car as being a one family owned car with 66,000 actual miles, that runs and drives excellent and is 100% complete and functional. I even have both sets of original keys and they all work in the original locks. This car is crazy, crazy nice. The car has just over 66,000 actual miles on it...and it shows. The inside of the car is in near mint condition. It still sports the original rubber mat, headliner, seats and door panels and outside of a few stains on the seats, they are in excellent condition. This car has been one family owned since new - Father to son type situation. The way I understand it, the car was given to the son by the Father in the late 60's early 70's. The car sat for years and years after the son got the car. It was discovered recently, and I purchased it at the Ford Motor Plant car show in St. Paul, MN. Because the car had been sitting for such a long time, it needed all the basics; new brakes, new gas tank, new fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, and a new battery. The car runs and drives great; shifts smooth and goes down the road like a brand new 1957 Ford. The car has 4 brand new wide white tires on it. The body is in excellent shape. Outside of a couple of touch up spots, the car sports its original paint. It is truly a great, great, time capsule car. You just don't find the original ones like this any more. If this was a 2-door hardtop or a retractible, it would have probably been restored 2 or 3 times by now....they are only original once. The car has all the original door seals, weather stripping, etc., and they are actually in pretty darn good shape. Even the original generator and oil light work, dome lights work, blinkers and horn work. It is in its own right a fantastic old Ford. Note; this is a factory radio delete car, and if you do look at the photos, I have a factory radio in the trunk that goes with the car. Make no mistake, this car is indeed in excellent original condition, however, original means that the bumpers could stand to be re-chromed, the one area below the right front fender has some minor rust, there is one spot in the trunk where there are a couple of bubbles from moisture, the glass and the stainless and the fit of the body are excellent!
