You are looking at a 1977 International Scout in overall excellent condition, especially for a vehicle 33 years old. This rare find has had only a few owners in its life and has been well taken care of during its entire ownership. From the automatic transmission to the air conditioning, this vehicle seemingly has it all. This vehicle is four-wheel drive and includes the following options: 345 Cu. in. V-8 engine 727 Automatic Transmission Front Wheel Locking Hubs (Automatic) automatically engages front wheels when shifted to 4x4 (no need to get out) Engine Block heater Dual Exhaust (which sounds great!) Scout body with hard top Custom interior trim package Full width folding rear seat Tinted windows Power brakes Power Steering Air Condition The vehicle runs and drives just fine. It starts right up every time and runs down the highway with no issues other than a heavy brake pedal….takes a little more pressure than what you might be used to with a modern car. Many of these fine classics were rust buckets. This one is not. The chassis shows a tiny bit of surface rust, but nothing structural. The body itself has a nice shine along with good fit and finish. The one small area of rust on the body can be seen on the passenger’s side fender TOP Very small. The horn is not loud and the Scout could use a tune up. The interior is nice, mostly original, and the headliner is near perfect. Other than these minor issues described, don’t miss this rare opportunity to bid on this rare classic ride.
