?CRUISE INTO THE SUMMER IN STYLE!? This is a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS (Super Sport) convertible we are offering for sale to the highest bidder. We purchased this car 3 years ago from the original owner & completed a frame off restoration a little less than 2 years ago. This Chevy comes equipped with it's original, rebuilt 327ci. V8 rated @ 250hp & sounds great. It has it's original, rebuilt, smooth-shifting, 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission. New dual exhaust system as originally equipped; all sitting on the original rebuilt frame. Rebuilt power brakes & power steering are there, all new gas & brake lines as well. Every nut & bolt of the underpinnings of the car have been either rebuilt, refurbished, painted or polished. You can eat off the undercarriage/engine bay, although this car was built to drive. The exterior was painted a factory-correct Ember Red although it was originally Tuxedo Black. This was done purely for personal preference. Original, rechromed bumpers are there. Trim that could not be refurbished to like new condition was replaced with only the best available, most accurate reproductions. All trim shines & fits well. New convertible top covers a refurbished top frame & works at the touch of a button & lines up flush with no leaks. Original, tinted glass is intact & sparkles. ? THIS CAR TURNS HEADS! Interior has been recovered in factory & car correct black vinyl, with all new cushioning. New carpet, seatbelts & rebuilt dash. Working, original AM/FM radio. Rare for a convertible is the cold blowing factory air conditioning with new compressor & all components intact. This car was built by our shop, Russells Impala Parts. We have been building 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963 & 1964 Impalas, Bel Airs & Biscaynes; AND ONLY THOSE CARS, since the late 1970s with a focus on 348s & 409s. We have sold our cars & prebuilt frames all over the world. We have also sold several big Chevys here on eBay. Admittedly, this is the first car we sell on eBay in a couple of years due to the economy, so bear with me if I have forgot any relevent info pertaining to this car.
