Up for bids is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle(Bug). This vehicle is equipped with the 4cylinder air cooled 1600 cc engine. It does have the dual carb set-up. The transmission is a manual 4 speed. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS. If you would like to see the vehicle for inspection or a test drive feel free to contact me. The exterior of the vehicle seems to show normal wear for the age of the vehicle. I have talked to a couple of people that are familiar with this kind of vehicle and portions of the vehicle that have rust seem to be in the common spots for the Bug's. The handle for the front trunk lid has been removed prior to my purchase of the vehicle. It looks like the front end has been lower with different spindles. The interior does need work. The carpet and headliner are missing. The seats do have seat covers on them. I have looked at the drivers seat under the cover and I see there are tears in the covering. There has been an aftermarket steering wheel installed. I do have the factory steering wheel for the vehicle. There is an aftermarket radio in the vehicle but i do not see any speakers so i can not tell you if the radio works or not. I did notice that the fuel gauge reading is erratic at times. I also have some misc parts for the vehicle that the previous owner had given me. There is the steering wheel, carb-looks like an aftermarket carb has been installed, some type of repair manual, air cleaner, and other misc parts. I purchased this vehicle last year sometime and it has been sitting in my storage shop up until this month. I just started to drive the vehicle in the last week or so. I have only put on about 200 miles since then. I am selling this vehicle due to to many vehicle and need to get rid of some. If there are any questions please feel free to ask me.
