Up for sale is a 1949 Crosley wagon with a Datsun drivetrain under it. Car ran up to a few years ago when parked, body is surprisingly solid despite the way it looks, interior is there but destroyed, car would need a full restoration, lots of good parts if you want to go that route. Clean title, bring a trailer and hornet spray and build an awesome micro-rod. Ok, for all of you who have been emailing me about this car, here is the low down, Crosley purists plug your ears, this car is a former rat drag car with a Datsun engine and trans(condition and model unknown). The rear axle is not stock and is wider, wheel wells are opened up for tire size and rear fenders are not stock, the engine is dropped back 8" and firewall is boxed around it. The front axle is a straight axle with drum brakes that has been reinforced because the care use to ride wheelies, shackle mounts do not look stock to me. The floor looks solid all around except for under the seats, some one put a piece of metal down for some reason, not sure if for rust or an access hole. There are no rust holes in the body, the paint is flaking off in sheets, all the trim seems to all be there, and the interior is JUNK. This car is an awesome rat rod but could be salvaged as a stock Crosley. This was a popular car to alter back in the day and is exactly that. Extreme Crosley club people please stop emailing me to tell me this car is worthless, and destroyed, I didn't build, I don't care if it is of no value to you, I am just selling it, and I think it is rad.
