If you are looking for a 993 air cooled Porsche -I would recommend that you make sure that the car will pass a smog check to be registered. I have found that most 993 cars will not pass after 60k miles or less. The correct fix so the car can pass emissions is -the 'top end rebuild' which is new valves and valve guides. This will eliminate the oil -that after 50k or more miles begins to seep into the piston firing chamber, causing the car to not run 'clean' enough on smog checks to pass. Cost for the top end jobs are about $10k -so be aware. This car was re-built and is good to go- new clutch as well, all documented.
