As a collector of primarily classic American cars from the 60's and 70's, this BMW is the "odd duck" in my garage. In fact, this car has been in a handful of different collections in the last few years and has seen very little use since 2007. The Dinan upgrades were what attracted me to this BMW. Now I'm clear on what they mean by "Ultimate Driving Machine". This is an outstanding car to drive. It molds together luxury and performance extremely well. I have enjoyed every mile I've put on this car. At my time of purchase I had a complete service performed that included a new battery, alternator, fluid change, wiper blades, etc. The brakes and tires are also almost new. The wheels have been updated to the factory 19 inch BMW 745 style. The Dinan components consist of a high-flow throttle body, cold air intake system and air flow meter. None of these items comprimise the car in any way. She just passed Oregon emissions with flying colors. The upgrades do, however, add significantly to performance and drivability. Truly a car that can be driven anywhere in total comfort without concern. This car has seen no abuse. Well cared for and maintained all of it's life. It is fully optioned with all power equipment, moonroof, CD changer, etc... Factory in-dash navigation and power rear window shade. Absolutely every toy and gadget function properly on the car. Interior and exterior condition is exceptional! The Titan Silver finish still maintains a high shine. There is NO damage, dents or scratches to mention. Any paint blemish is tiny or superficial and only visible on extremely close inspection. All glass (sides tinted), bumpers, trim, lights and lenses are excellent. The gray leather is still soft and shows little to no wear. The rest of the cabin area is also near perfect with no flaws of any kind. All of my eBay experiences over the years have been enjoyable as I've changed and rotated through the members of my collection. I am grateful for the kind comments I've received. My opinions have always served me well and I stand behind them but I welcome and encourage showing the car in person to anyone with genuine interest. I have found no evidence of repainting or exterior repairs of any kind. Even the front bumper and nose area are extremely nice. Not the typical peppered with rock chips we've come to expect. Only a handful of tiny blems on close inspection. Factory optioned with Xenon headlights. In the center of this photo you can see a very minor door ding. Like I said, she sure doesn't fit in with my classic car collection. The interior speaks for itself. Please notice the verticle line on the left side of the NAV screen. The navigation system functions correctly but that small line is there. Mileage reading is actual. Climate control, heating and cooling, is operating perfectly. Rear windscreen shade. Trunk is flawless. Complete factory tool kit. The undersides are what we hope to find. The car has not been exposed to salted roads or harsh chemicals. Mechanically the car is excellent. Evidence of a small oil leak can be found on my garage floor but nothing that requires attention. Clean and clear Oregon Title in my name. TRANSPORT - SHIPPING I am happy to be an active, hands-on, part of this process from start to finish but the buyer is ultimately responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle and any pre-purchase inspections need to be done BEFORE auction ending. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly assist in loading and be present for the transport condition form or other reasonable help. Locating a transporter is the buyers responsibility but I can make recommendations and share the relationships I've built. Vehicle transport has become very reasonable. He is based here in Oregon and has handled my transport needs perfectly for the last 3 years with careful handling, excellent rates and fast service even all the way to the East Coast. Coast-to-Coast enclosed transport is around $1500.00 and even less the closer you are to Oregon.
