You are bidding on a unique 1980 Triumph TR7. I purchased it 7 1/2 years ago and intended to finish getting it in tip top shape, but that has not happened. I owned a 1976 in the late 70's and loved it, so I thought this was the project for me. Now my lack of time and energy toward this project is my loss and your gain. The car runs but runs rich; I believe that the carburetors need to be overhauled and synchronized. The top needs to be replaced or possibly repaired if you plan to drive it mostly with the top down. The seam around the rear window needs sewing and there are a few bad spots on the top as you can see from the photos. Some of the marker lights are not hooked up and I believe the gas gauge is not either. I think this was just not completed after the previous owner painted the car. The air conditioner is not working but should be able to be repaired, I am not sure what is wrong with it. The tires are in great shape and have less than 250 miles on them. The hubs and wheels have been changed and it sports nice wire spoke wheels with spin off racing hubs. The interior has been redone and is in great shape. I do have the original stereo but presently it has a Panasonic CD player installed. It has an alarm system with proximity sensors that will cause it to alarm if the top is down and someone reaches inside. I am sure there are many more good and bad points about this car but if you have the time and energy, I think this could be a great car for you. In a few of the picture you can see another wrecked TR7 (parts car).The winner of this car will also receive the second car as a bonus, if you like, at no additional cost. It also has a clear title.
