Hello, thanks for looking! I got this beautiful, convertible, 1969 VW Bug in 2006. It was in need of lots of love when I bought it. The body shop I used took it completely apart to fix, replace, and repair it all. I wanted to make sure it not only looked great, but it had to be SAFE too! My kids were younger and we loved hanging out in our little convertible buggy. Well they grew up and drive their own cars now. So I decided to sell the 69. She was good times, and now it is time to say good-bye. There is no reserve so good luck! Who ever wins her will be so happy with this car! This is some of what I had done to it after I bought it. New Left & Right Floor Pans (The old ones were so rusty I was scared to drive it home!) We have had fantastic times in her! The car is mechanically sound. It starts every time and runs GREAT! I still drive it to work from time to time and downtown for fun sometimes too. The oil changes are done for me by a great little place that works mainly on VW's.It passes inspection with no problem. Right & left blinkers work fine front and back.Headlights work great, low & high beams.Breaks and break lights work great.Tires are like new still.Rear view mirror is in place.The convertible top is in great shape. It has no tears or holes.The boot (convertible top cover) is in great shape too.It has two good sun visors.Seats are in great condition. (I have had those covers on them the entire time I have had them.) It has both left and right side view mirrors.All the windows roll up and down just fine.It has tools for tire change.Horn works.It currently has old 1969 TX plates on it. Over all this car is in better than good physical condition, and like I said GREAT mechanically.Here are a few things I wanted to mention.One of the seat belts in the back seat needs repair.I drove through a hail storm 2 years ago and there are 2 place where the paint cracked. I put a picture of this for you to see. If you look super hard you can find some very small dings from it, but as you can see from photos it looks great!The windshield had a small stone crack that I had filled. You can put your inspection sticker over it and it will not be seen. I do still drive the car so it has some normal wear. Not only am I not putting a reserve on this item, I am started bidding lower than what I put into the car as incentive! Buyer will have to make all arrangements for picking up or shipping the car.
